3/28/26: In what is likely the final festival screening of our film, The Brat Snack screened at the San Diego Streaming Festival earlier this month. Since it was filmed almost entirely in San Diego, it felt especially fitting to close out its festival run at a local event. Filmmaker Ralph was present, along with collaborator Hannah. While not many people were in attendance, Ralph had the opportunity to introduce the film to a small audience and sat down for an interview afterward. And guess what, there were some laughs in the audience (granted, most were from us). It’s amazing to think the film is still getting some play after all these years. The film is also up for a potential award on April 11th. Fingers crossed!
Also! Blair’s journal page is finally done. Check it out. I found some cool code online to make it an interactive notebook. It’s not perfect and could probably use some tweaking, but I like it! I think I need to add contrast to my images so they pop more. Pencil is hard to read!

7/07/25: Not exactly breaking news, but I wanted to give an update on the film's festival selection progress over the past two years.
The Brat Snack has received two Honorable Mentions and reached the Quarterfinals in another festival! We're still waiting to hear back from a few festivals before the run is officially over.
It's cool to see the film being watched in other parts of the world and gaining some more recognition!

4/05/24: Willlachen Comedy & Satire Filmprize - the golden cellar rattle has selected The Brat Snack to be included in their festival in Austria! Excited to see how it does at a few more festivals!

9/1/23: We've submitted The Brat Snack to several film festivals. Given its niche appeal, acceptance may be challenging, but we remain hopeful. Wish us luck!
